MLK Jr. Day is an American federal holiday that's celebrated on the third Monday of January each year. It's a special day that honors the legacy of Nobel Peace Prize winner Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who spent his life fighting for equal rights.
For this collection, we illustrated Dr. King giving impactful speeches, standing in front of churches, and as part of the national monument dedicated to him. Many of the coloring pages also include famous quotes from the American pastor.
While we designed many of these PDFs to color in for older kids, we've also included simple illustrations of MLK Jr. for younger children too. Print some for a done-for-you Martin Luther King Jr. Day activity, social studies lesson plans, or Black History Month celebrations.
