When I started designing these coloring pages, I did a brain dump of all the things that make my own kiddos feel a little anxious on the first day of school. Things like:

- learning new subjects
- understanding a different routine
I wanted these pages to offer something familiar and comforting to focus on, with visuals that help them know what to expect.
